Remember not to yank your baby up by his or her feet to change a diaper. I don’t know where that unkind technique started, but one yank can disrupt a baby’s digestion. It’s the same for adults, too. If you have our infant work, you’ll see this discussed in the toileting info. Simply roll the baby to the side a little, remove the diaper, and repeat on the other side.
Finding a good chiropractor, or Chinese medical massage practitioner, can be a life saver. I highly recommend doing this before you need one!
It is nice to let your child watch you getting a tune up, so they know what to expect.
If your child has digestive problems, remember to remove all additives and supplements from their diet now. Keep the diet very simple during recovery. I highly recommend meat and bone broth to start. You can add a bit of kimchi juice, unpasteurized tamari, and raw butter for flavor.
Test out eggs with a tiny bit of duck egg yolk on a healthy gut to see how your child responds. Ducks that are raised kindly in a natural setting are incredibly healthy.
Acid reflux? Try a little bit of homemade kombucha vinegar in the bone broth with the tamari. This helps restore digestion and aids in rebuilding the gut microbiome.
