A simple layout provides children with the luxury of extra space for movement and floor work. I posted this link at the bottom of an older post, so I am sharing it again for everyone who missed it.

The original classroom had nice hardwood wooden floors with area rugs, so this current floor is not my favorite. If you are setting up a new space, I highly recommend real wood floors with wax, not polyurethane on top. Waxing the floors is a great practical life exercise, too
Note that a mix of group tables and individual tables is traditional. The setup here has been modified due to virus issues.
At home, it is nice to provide floor work space, a private table with room to spread out, and a group table for large individual projects and group work.
