I just listed the Pink Series book sets. This is a digitization of our originals with some awesome photo upgrades.
The 2nd set uses short phrases without punctuation or capital letters.
The first Pink Series set is used after children work with the movable alphabet to form these short CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) words.
Do you know what “cat” is used at this stage, but “car” is not?
What about “bat” vs “bath”?
Or “hip” vs “chip”?
Answer: “ar” combines “a” and “r” to make a unique sound.
You will realize that “th” and “ch” are different than their component letters, too.
As I prepared the “unscramble” word for parents, I realized that this is exactly why many people dislike foreign language study! We will digitize our French, Chinese, and basic Latin material as soon as the rest of the books are ready.
