My Pink Book Set 4 is ready to download from our Etsy shop! Your children can enjoy reading more short vowel words before moving fully to the Blue Series. Even if your child has begun the Blue Series, this fourth set provides enjoyable reading practice that helps build a good base of knowledge.
The video near the bottom of this post shows all the pages in the listing, too.
The plural “s” is included in a logical manner.
Verbs are introduced carefully as we must differentiate them from nouns — and since photos don’t move… The repetition of the verb words helps add action. We explain commas as a “pause” when you read.
You can say, “We use capital letters for names.” If your child asks. Otherwise, they will simply see it. Going through lists of countries, the number of true short vowel country names are surprisingly few.
There are few stock photos for the Yemeni flag. I wanted to show a larger image, but I wanted the ancient architecture, too. This is a nice time to add flag cards. Here’s the link to the AMI free download — if you scroll down, you will see all the flags. Note that AMI has created too many random noun cards, sadly, in response to the earlier school closures. We NEVER use that many cards, so unless they particularly amuse your child, I suggest that you only use the ones featured in our material.
Here’s the video. I probably should have made it go more slowly (but then it would be boring). It reminds me of those cartoons in Japan that caused epileptic fits among susceptible children.
Here’s the digital listing for this Pink Book Set 4. There will be a print listing shortly, too. I have a good introductory discount on it for the next two weeks!
