This is a biology experiment for all ages,
I use plants such as basil, cherry tomatoes, carrots, and dandelion for this experiment. You can decide whether to grow two groups of a mix of plants or just a single type. The tomatoes are interesting because the taste and color can change.
One thing I like about stone or rock dust is that it is not profitable to export due to its weight and low price, so it is fairly local. You can easily send the dust in for independent testing, too.
Rock Dust Local remains my favorite source. You will find their rock testing details on the site.
Tip: Write the labels on the pots themselves, not on removable inserted tags, because children tend to remove the tags to read them.
