I’m deciding between two formats:
or this more colorful version?
If you are using these photos for practical life inspiration, your child can leave out the eggs: Just make whatever pancake batter you use, a coconut flour wrap, a sourdough ferment, or a few pieces of grilled napa cabbage as wraps. The main point of interest is the tasty filling!
For those of you with older children, cooking preparation is a wonderful way for older children to practice their fine motor skills without feeling that they are engaged in remedial activity. Assess their fine motor skills prior to beginning, so you can introduce a project that will be engaging for independent work.
Remember to toss your non-stick pans. I know, I know, I really do understand. My only non-stick was a large poultry roasting pan, but when I switched over to cast iron, I was really happy. The greatest gift you can give your children is long-term health!
Seasoning a cast iron pan is a wonderful project for a child!
I like the first omlete photo that is zoomed out .
