Sometimes people forget that geometry is part of math, so I wanted to share this most excellent refresher video,

Dr. Montessori found that four-year-olds internalized geometric principles more easily than six-year-olds, which is why the basics are in our early albums. I wonder if that is because the world has become more structured for older children, it is harder to see things in different ways.

Remember to get your geometric solids (including our expanded set that follows the originals), geometric cabinet, metal insets, and all the constructive triangle work. You can see pictures of it in my Montessori official equipment slideshow post.
