No. Authentic Montessori curriculum does not include schedules or calendars for daily activities. Our curriculum provides all the material that we present in a single school year in a Montessori school. The timing of these presentations depends on the individual child's interests. The Primary One material is arranged by page number, so you just turn the page when you need the next level of work. The toddler material is more fluid as the emphasis is not on building the same types of skills.
If one does use a schedule, it will not work well. You will find yourself trying to push children into an artificial schedule, and this will negatively impact their learning, independence, and development.
