Thank you, how old should they be for this? Should I show my 2 year old the screen or just the sound?

You're very welcome! Your child is a great age to start. Ideally, you could demonstrate with an instrument, so your child would not need to use the video. I never want to encourage anyone to start with screens, but this is a good demo, if your child is already watching things. The sound by itself would be interesting, but your child probably wouldn't be able to figure out what was going on. Do you play anything? The glockenspiel has a good sound for such a demo.

Thank you. I'm have kept my little one off screens (except for overseas family chats and trying very hard for her not to press buttons during the call 🫠)

I do play music and notes for her from the iPad, I give her a speaker (I don't let her see the iPad, it's hard work 😊)

I have a Violin that I don't know how to play 🫤😢

Should I just play the glockenspiel Beethoven song you shared.

The one with the singer, is the one that might be confusing, right?

Say, you could try the Suzuki method for the violin to teach yourself. Your daughter would probably pick it up easily as she watched you. That’s kind of how their method works, anyhow.

The only way to keep the kids off the iPad is to not use it, lol. Yes, I’d definitely say to play the songs on the glockenspiel because she will want to touch and try whatever makes the sound.

Yes, the one with the singer was the potentially confusing one.

Did you see my other posts for Cheryl’s singing? You could learn her very entertaining vocal drills to demo for your daughter.

Ah, here it is,
