Nurturing the Artistic Sense
Inspiring destinations and artwork can be free. Nature is the original inspiration. The high-res images in this post will print nicely.
Visit a pond with water lilies.
Display Monet’s Water Lilies.
Climb rocks as you cross a wild stream in the forest.
Identify sculptures and architecture on your daily commute.
Print the Louvre Pyramid image to prepare for a visit, if only in your imagination.
Visit classic destinations such as St. Ives Harbour.
Following my Taschen art book post, many of you asked for tips for introducing children to the world of art, so I wrote this post today.
You can use gallery hangings at home to make it easier to rotate art. Even small trips help inspire children. Our students loved driving around the circle where The Thinker resided. You can use your drives to introduce features of your home town, too.
